(Bless A Brand New) Angel"Bless A Brand New Angel" was originally released in 1998 by Mariah Carey's imprint at Sony named Crave. The title track was starting to get airplay when the plug was pulled on Crave by Carey's ex-husband Tommy Motolla. Ironically, it was young Tommy Motolla who told Benny to stop writing songs for others and start singing his own songs when they both worked for Joel Diamond in NYC. The record was re-released in 1999 by Fuel Records, a division of Universal, under the name Angel. At that point, any momentum the record had was gone and the record never made a mark outside of Syracuse. |
